When This Policy Applies
This policy applies to hosting, email, accounts and other services identified in your accepted quote, order or agreement when that document expressly incorporates it. It also covers use you authorise by staff or other people through those services. Browsing this website or making an enquiry does not create a service contract.
Read it with our Terms of Service. Your agreement identifies any relevant outside-provider rules before you commit. Neither this policy nor a supplier rule removes consumer guarantees or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Lawful Content and Respect for Others
Do not use an agreed service to publish, store, send or assist with unlawful material or activity. This includes fraud, child sexual abuse material, unlawful threats or harassment, and material that unlawfully infringes privacy, confidentiality or intellectual property rights.
Use only content, software, photographs, fonts and other materials you own or are permitted to use. Check that any permission covers the intended use. Do not sell counterfeit goods, impersonate another business or make deceptive claims through the service.
You remain responsible for the content and business instructions you provide. If a credible complaint arises, we consider the available facts and may ask for information or proof of permission. A complaint alone does not establish wrongdoing.
Malware, Scams and Unauthorised Access
Do not intentionally distribute malicious software, create fake sign-in or payment pages, steal passwords or information, disrupt other systems, or access accounts without permission. Do not attempt to bypass agreed access controls or use a service to attack another website or network.
Security testing requires the relevant owner’s permission and a separately agreed scope before it is performed through or against a service we manage. Ordinary business use is not permission to test another person’s systems.
A compromised account can cause harm without its owner’s knowledge. Tell us promptly if you suspect this has happened. We work with you on proportionate containment and the agreed recovery steps; an accidental compromise is not automatically treated as deliberate misconduct.
Email and Messages
Do not use the service to send spam, fraudulent messages or messages with misleading sender details. Commercial electronic messages must meet applicable Australian requirements, including consent, accurate sender information and a working way to unsubscribe where required. Do not use purchased address lists without the necessary lawful consent.
Use email accounts for the purposes and sending limits agreed for your service. Discuss bulk campaigns before sending them so a suitable service can be agreed. No provider can promise every message will arrive in an inbox; receiving systems make their own filtering decisions.
Account Safety and Shared Resources
Protect sign-in details, use the agreed security controls and give staff only the access their roles need. Keep recovery contacts current and promptly tell us when access should be removed. Update software and review alerts where those tasks are your responsibility; where they are ours, our agreed duties continue.
Storage, website traffic, email sending and other limits must be stated in the agreed service information. We do not invent an undisclosed usage limit through this policy. Do not deliberately overload shared systems or interfere with other customers.
If usage approaches an agreed limit or causes a demonstrable problem, we explain it and discuss reducing usage or a suitable service change. An upgrade or extra charge requires approval.
How We Handle a Problem
Our response is based on the evidence, seriousness, urgency and effect of the issue. Ordinarily we explain the concern, identify the affected service and give a reasonable opportunity to respond or correct it. We consider relevant information you provide and use restrictions proportionate to the problem.
Serious active harm, a clear unlawful activity or a legal requirement may require immediate containment, such as disabling a compromised account or a harmful page. We limit the action where practicable and explain what happened and what is needed to restore service as soon as reasonably and lawfully possible.
We do not claim a general right to inspect all private communications or delete customer data at our discretion. Any access or disclosure must have an appropriate service or legal basis, respect privacy duties and follow our Privacy Policy. Ending services and routine data removal follow the notice and export arrangements in the Terms of Service.
Reporting Concerns and Policy Changes
Report a concern through your agreed service contact or our enquiry form. Give the relevant website or service, a short explanation and the basis of your concern. Do not send passwords, harmful attachments or unnecessary personal information. The form is not an immediate emergency-response service.
If you disagree with a restriction, explain why and provide relevant facts so it can be reconsidered. Changes to this policy are handled under the contract’s change process. Publishing a new version alone does not retrospectively alter an existing agreement.
